In order to provide a rich and enjoyable experience for you, I will include references to, or recommendations of, products from time to time. I will only do this when I feel it is a product or service truly worth your consideration.
A reference or recommendation does not guarantee the product or service is the right one for you, but it comes from my belief that it was good or right or helpful to me at some point. At other times I may recommend or refer a product I have never used, but believe might be of interest to you.
In all these instances, I will do my best to include a link of some sort, so you can easily click through to the product or service provider. As a method of supporting this site, these links may be connected to an advertising agreement with a company such as Amazon or Google. You do not pay extra for your product or service as a result of this.
If you buy something through one of these links, I will be paid a little money. Not a lot, just a little. And never enough to post a link to something just for the sake of the money. That’s not the point. With modern website monetization, it is possible for me to write the content I feel passionate about, and still earn a little money to support the website.
In addition, I will also include links to other websites that you may find interesting, yet with which I have no agreement whatever. They are just there for you to consider for more information about a topic. I don’t get paid for them, but I think they might be of interest to you. Dilbert.com is a good example.
Please don’t ever feel pressured to click on a link. That is totally not the point. They are just there to provide convenient access to a product or service or other website that you may find of interest.
You may also see display ads here at some point. Again, all of the above applies, except that in the case of some ads, like those served by Google, I may not fully control the content. But it’s supposed to be relevant to you, so I hope that’s the case.
